is a rerun of last session's ACES legislation.

It is essentially a cap and trade measure
which would require power plants, fossil
fuel producers and other "capped" entities
to comply with mandatory government
emissions standards.

The Albany Common Council is away
with the birds.

What about property tax relief for city
homeowners and small businesses?

What about consolidating city schools
with city government, establishing one
property tax roll to finance both, returning
to K-8 neighborhood schools and making
the Mayor and Council responsible and
accountable for the performance of city
schools?

Where is the Council Home Rule Request
to the State Legislature requesting the
necessary amendments to state law to
implement the above consolidation and
related changes?

Why are the State Legislators who purport
to represent the people of the City of Albany
State Senator Neil Breslin and Assembly
Members McEneny, Canestrari, Riley, and
Gordon not sponsoring the legislation to
achieve consolidation of city schools with
city government, and related changes?

The short answer is that none of the above
wish to be responsible for, and accountable
for the performance of city schools and none
of the above are real leaders who will show
the way to property tax relief for homeowners
and small businesses.

viable candidate.


If you like the incumbents, their records and where they

stand on the issues vital to our survival - vote for them.

I oppose the radical transformation of America.

Obamacare is bad medicine. No amnesty or sanctuary

policy for illegal aliens. No cap and trade.

Security is the priority issue at the national, state and

local levels. Secure our borders and ports. If we are not

safe, nothing else matters.


Emergency/Disaster Preparedness is essential to survive

whatever may befall us in the daysand months ahead.
