Joe Sullivan, of Albany, Independent write in candidate for
Representative in Congress, 21st Congressional District NY
today, called on the media
to ask Ted Danz (R-C) who Danz supports for
Governor in the Republican and Conservative Party primaries
Tuesday, September 14.


Danz, is an enrolled Republican.


The candidates for Governor in the Republican primary are
Rick Lazio and Carl Paladino, both of whom are enrolled
Republicans.




The candidates for Governor in the Conservative Party
primary are Rick Lazio, an enrolled Republican and Ralph Lorigo
an enrolled Conservative and Conservative Party leader from
Western New York.




Sullivan, an enrolled Conservative, is voting for
Conservative Ralph Lorigo as Conservative Party candidate
for Governor.


Sullivan backs Paladino in the Republican Party Primary.


Danz and GOP lawyers invoked the arcane NYS Election law
to prevent Sullivan from running on the Conservative ballot line
for Congress.


Sullivan is an Independent write in candidate
for Representative in Congress
21st Congressional District New York
 in the November 2 General Election.

You mean Obama strategy. NO.

Putting our troops in harms way, restricting them with politically

At the same time, failing to secure our national borders and
ports and seeking to grant amnesty to the tens of millions of
illegal aliens who have invaded our land?


The Obama strategy, if left to play out will result in the
demise of America.

and how would  you address it?


Nuclear war is the primary environmental threat to our
nation and the world.


Pakistan is an unstable nation containing nuclear weapons
harboring Islamic radicals. Iran is a radical Islamic nation 
developing it's nuclear weapon/missile capabilities while
repeatedly declaring it's aim to destroy Israel and America.


The U S must not unilaterally disarm nor bow down to those
who seek to destroy us and our way of life.


The U S must convince China, Russia, India, and other
nations, large and small , around the world, that our mutual
survival depends on halting the proliferation of nuclear weapons
stabilizing unstable countries where nuclear weapons now exist
 - taking joint  action to accomplish this goal and to safeguard
the development  and flow of oil, natural gas, water and other
vital natural resources.


There will be no winners in a nuclear war.

MESSAGE MATTERS IN 2010

The 2010 elections are unlike any other in
our lifestime.

The survival of America, and all Americans
are on the line.

Put America First,  before blind political party
allegiance.

Cast informed votes for the candidates who
offer the most promise for restoring our
Constitutional Representative form of
government in Congress and in New York
State.

The September 14 party primaries are the

POLITICAL IRONY
NY CONGRESSIONAL
DISTRICT 21

Incumbent Paul Tonko (D-I-WFP) has
3  ballot lines and the wrong message.
Tonko is a rubber stamp for the Obama-
Pelosi agenda to radically transform
America.

Challenger Ted Danz (R-C) has 2 ballot
lines but is a weak candidate with no
message. His paid supporters were
recently standing at  the intersection
of Rte 155 and Western Ave waving his
signs to passing traffic. No one honked
in support.   Why should they?

Family Tonko-Danz are both party hacks.

I can't wait until there are some debates
between Tonko and Danz. Tonko will talk
circles around the hapless, clueless Danz.

But ,Tonko will go easy on Danz, because
he is the straw GOP candidate chosen to
take the count in the November 2 General
Election giving Tonko a sure path to a
second term.

There is a third option for Representative
in Congress, 21 CD NY -  my write in
candidacy.

Local media and debate sponsors will not
mention my name, or my very substantive
blog or include me in any debates, because
I have no ballot line.

Additionally, I am not asking anyone for
money , so the local media won't get any
infusion of cash from me for mindless ads.

The irony is that I am the strongest
candidate with the clearest message, who
puts the futures of America, and all
Americans before political party.

Campaign reform? Term limits?  I am
these things, and more.

My campaign is your campaign. It is
up to the citizen voters to pass the word.

This is America and a write in successful

candidate has a message that is right for
the time.

RIGHT ON - WRITE IN
VOTE THEM OUT
WRITE US IN

The electoral process in New York is a
form of organized, legal tyranny which
is designed and utilized to benefit insiders
of the two major political parties: Democrat
and Republican.

In this case a  Dominant Democratic Party
and their vassals in the Republican Party.

These political parties work hand in glove;
they appoint the elections commissioners
hire the lawyers to knock challengers off
the ballot, and they select the judges who
rule the petitions of challengers to be
invalid.

The deck is stacked against challengers
from the start to finish.

Remember, there are only two political
parties, those in power (insiders) and
those who seek to be in power (outsiders).

They go by different names, at different
times and places.

At the top of the heap, they work hand
in hand. Only those, lower on the food
chain, are truly partisan, to a fault.

Last week the NYS Board of Elections
ruled my Conservative Party petition
invalid for having less than the required
of signatures because of  objections raised
by Theodore Danz, his allies and GOP
attorney,  who alledged that my petition
had 99 invalid signatures. The SBOE
in a report issued July 28, reduced that
number to 27 and stated I was 17 signatures
short of qualifying for the ballot.

I went to the Albany County Board of
Elections, knowing that the county board
rolls would be more accurate and up to
date that the SBOE rolls, and found 17
of the 27 were enrolled Conservatives.
that put me right at the mark.

The next day, July 29, the SBOE held
a hearing to review my petition and
objections thereto.

Danz was represented by a GOP
attorney, or two, and GOP State
Senate political operative Dan Farrell.

The hearing officer would not consider
the 17 signatures I claimed to be valid.
She further advised me that the SBOE
had reduced the July 28 report of
qualifying signatures by 2, leaving me
2 short of qualifying. No prior notice
of explanation of why was provided to
be, nor has the SBOE so provided me
to this date.

I went over the county voter rolls even
more closely, the next day, and found
one more signature to be that of an
enrolled Conservative - bring the
number to 18 of the 27 which the SBOE
28 July staff report declared invalid.
This would leave me 1 signature of the
mark to qualify for the ballot, ( or
1 over if the SBOE number of July 28
were the base, and SBOE concurred
with and accepted my findings that
18 of those 27 signatures declared invalid
by SBOE staff, were enrolled voters
of the Conservative party.


I advised the SBOE of this information
complete with voter ID numbers, names
addresses, etc. in advance of the August
5  SBOE Commissioners' meeting to rule
on petitions.

In addition,  I submitted an allegation
of voter fraud by one of the principal
witnesses on the Danz petition, who
discarded 12 valid petition signatures
for me, obtained and witnessed by a
Schenectady Conservative.

These 12 signatures would have put
me over the mark.

That person submitted a notarized
statement validating this incident of
voter fraud.

No evidence that the SBOE even
considered these factors.

On August 6, a UPS delivery dropped
at my door, informed me that the SBOE
had invalidated my petition because of
insufficent signatures.

The Board also validated the petitions
of Incumbent Tonko for the Democratic
Independence and Working Families party
ballot lines' and Danz for the Republican
and Conservative party ballot lines, and
certificates of acceptance and party
authorizations (Wilson Pakulas) relating
thereto - ignoring the objections I filed
with regard to same - that none of these
documents bear the correct public office
title - Representative In Congress,
21st Congressional District, New York.

My authorities for this are the U S
Constitution, Art 1, Secs 1, 2, 3 and 4
and the official websites of the SBOE
Albany County BOE. Check them out.

My petition was the only one that
correctly identified the public office.

Mine was ruled invalid, while the others
were not?  Strict construction of the law
for one and not the others? 

If the Election Law were evenly applied
by the SBOE, all petitions, and related
documents objected to should have been
declared invalid.

So, I can go to Court by this coming
Tuesday to ask for a judicial de novo
review.

This would take a lawyer - one who
would have the ability and independence
to take on the case. No lawyer who wants
a career in the 3rd Department will,
dare represent me, in what would be
a fascinating landmark challenge to
the political insiders.


My objections are soundly based.

I could bring a pro se action, but this
would require more money and resources
than I have. 500 dollars or more. The
law library has limited summer hours.
Brushing up on all the forms, procedures
rules, timelines involved is not an easy
task. Many a court case is lost, not
on substance, but on techicalities.

So what to do?   Endorse Tonko?
Endorse Danz? (barf) Sit out the election?
Give up? Sit in and play a game where the
deck is stacked? Attend another Tea Party
rally and listen to the same old speeches
presented by the same cast of players.

The one held at the State Capitol yesterday
was more like a sparsely attended wake.

(However, there were some rousing speeches
and the small crowd was genuinely in support
of taking back our government and restoring
our representative Republican form of
government.

One highlight, though was the rousing
speech prepared by GOP handlers and
read by Ted Danz, Rick Lazio supporters
all. Somehow, I missed it, and so did most
of the crowd.  Carl Paladino has Tea Party
support. Lazio does not. So, why was Danz
at the rally?)

None of these are acceptable options.

Too much is at stake in the November
2 General Election. The survival of America
and all Americans, (even 21st CD leftists)
are on the line.  When the ship goes down
all hands will be lost.

If you deny this, you are simply not paying
attention to reality.

This is America, where all things are
possible.  

A new paper ballot electronic voting
procedure will apply to the November 2
General Election.

This procedure will make it easier than
ever to do a write in vote for the public
office of Representative in Congress
21st Congressional District, NY, and
any other public office up for election
on November 2.

Like many of my kin who served in
the U S Cavalry on the Western Frontier
when their horses were shot out from
under them, the troopers fought on foot.

The SBOE shot my Conservative ballot
line horse out from under me, August 5.

Trying to rope another mount in the
form of the  Independent Taxpayer Party
ballot  line is too elusive, and likely to meet
the same fate at the hands of  Danz and
his GOP objectors and attorneys,

Fortunately, I have plenty of ammo and
have the internet for my weapon.

I don't need a horse to win this fight!

No need to  beg for and spend a lot of
money to bombard the inattentive electorate
with constant subliminal media messages
tons of literature sent via the mails or
left littering their front doors and lawns,
or to participate in rigged debates
sponsored by groups aligned with the
political insiders or to be interviewed
by print reporters, and others, seeking
to land flack jobs in state agencies as
a reward for their "reporting" efforts.

The media won't give me the time of day
because I won't be contributing the big
cash they look forward to every election
in order to stay afloat. I know their game
and won't pay to play.

So, how will I get my message to the
voters? 

The internet and word of mouth! And
maybe, local talk radio.

This blog is being read around the U S
and world. ( A big shout out to readers in
Ft Myers, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the
Muslim world)

If they can be reading this blog - so can
the voters of the 21st Congressional District.

Pass the word to family, friends, neighbors

All incumbents are scared. They know you
are angry. They control the candidate
nominating process. Theyare counting on
you to be confused and to be afflicted
with a massive case of political Attention
Disorder (PADD) or to be lost in depression
despair and hopelessness.

An informed electorate, voting in huge
numbers, November 2, holds the key to
saving America, and all Americans.

LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE

Three candidates have filed petitions
to be on the ballot in New York's 21st
Congressional District.

Incumbent Paul Tonko, Democrat has
filed Democratic, Independence and
Working Families Party petitions.

Theodore Danz Jr, Republican, has
filed Republican and Conservative
petitions.

Yours truly, Joe Sullivan , Conservative
filed only for the Conservative ballot
line.

When a candidate is not an enrolled
member of the political party or parties
for which petitions are filed. That
candidate must file a Certificate of
Acceptance and the political party(s)
must file a Certificate of Authorization
(Wilson-Pakula) which permits
candidates, not enrolled in that party
to have that ballot line in an election.

Accordingly, Democrat Tonko  and
Republican Danz file certificates of
acceptance for the third party ballot
lines they are seeking. The parties
filed the required certificates of
authorization.

As a result of the above, one party
primary would result in the
Conservative Party, September 14.

Danz, and his GOP mentors, were
not content to let Conservative Party
members decide if they wanted as
their candidate, fellow Conservative
Party member, Sullivan, or Republican
Danz.

Rarely, do any of the minor political
parties in New York present one of
their own members as a candidate.
Usually, third party ballot lines go
to either a Democrat or Republican.

Conventional political wisdom is that
Incumbent Tonko would benefit from
having two challengers split opposition
votes in the November 2 General
Election.

That is not the case in the contest for
the 21st Congressional District.

Danz is the weaker of the two Tonko
challengers. He does not know the issues
and does not write or speak well. Danz
has presented no sound rationale why
he is a candidate. Nor has Danz clearly
indicated how he would vote and what
alternative options to the Obama agenda
to radically transform America, Danz
offers.

Sullivan is clearly the most able
prepared, conservative and independent.

Compare the websites of   Sullivan
(Lonerangeralbany.blogspot.com) which
is written by himself and contains much
more substance and more specific stands
on a larger variety of vital issues, than
the Danz website which is written and
arranged by GOP puppetmasters and
and very vague on a few issues that are
feeble attempts to match what appears
on this website.

Danz would be no match for Tonko in
a forum or debate.

Why does Danz want the Conservative
ballot line? Why is he not content to
have the Republican line and make
his case on that ballot line? Why doesn't
Danz own up to the fact that he is by
far the weaker and least skilled and
least prepared , of the two Tonko
challengers, to take on Tonko?  Ask
Danz that question.

Tonko would prefer to have Danz as
his sole challenger because Danz is
an easy mark.

The 21st District is a predominantly
Democratic district, with Albany County
as it's geographic and political center.
The Democratic base is conservative but
doesn't vote in primaries. Thus, left wing
Democrats are more numerous in public
offices.

Tonko hails from the far reaches of
the district. Tonko made the fatal mistake
of endorsing Mayor Jennings' challenger
fellow leftist, Shawn Morris, in the 2009
Albany mayoral race.

Tonko is a rubber stamp for the Obama
Pelosi agenda of radically transforming
America. As a result he is not popular.
In addition, he has not represented the
people of the 21st district well in his
freshman term.

Sullivan being on the Conservative ballot
line is more likely to draw votes of the
more numerous Democrats in the 21st
District, than Danz on the Republican
line, November 2.

Let's get back to the immediate purpose
of this post. Let the people decide from
among the three candidates who have
filed petitions for the 21st Congressional
District.

Danz , and his GOP handlers, have filed
objections arguing that the Sullivan petition
should be declared invalid and Sullivan
denied the opportunity to be in this race
on the grounds that of not having sufficient
signatures to qualify for the ballot.

Danz, and his GOP handlers, have brought
a court action in Supreme Court asking for
the Court to make this finding and to restrain
the State Board of Elections Commissioners
from placing Sullivan's name on the ballot.

This case is scheduled for August 3rd.
Sullivan has requested that it be adjourned
until the Commisioner's at the State Board
have made their determination.

The Sullivan petition is the only one of
the would be candidates in the 21st District
to correctly identify the public office -
Representative In Congress, based on the
Supreme law of our land, Art 1, Sections 1, 2
3 and 4.; and on the websites of the State
Board and Albany County, Boards of Elections
which correctly identify that to be the title
of the public office in question.

Sullivan, is withholding legal action pending
the State Election Commissioners' decisions
regarding all petitions submitted.

The Courts are already overloaded . The
outcome of competing court actions could
be that Danz and Sullivan are knocked off
the ballot and Tonko is left standing
minus the Democratic and Independence
lines and with only the Working Families
Party line. This would result in Tonko
being reelected by default and would
provide voters of the 21st Congressional
District no choice on November 2nd.

It might be said that all the petitions submitted
in this district contest are flawed in one way
or another.

The intent of the State Election Law is to
provide an organized method of ballot access.
Not to deny candidates ballot access. Thus,
Commissioners are to liberally construe the
law, and petitions are presumptively, on
their face, valid .

Should those who, in good faith, signed and
witnessed these designating petitions be
denied the right to choose, in the September
Conservative Party Primary and November
2 General Election, who those voters want
to be their Representative in Congress?

I say, let the people decide!

The solution is simple.

Let all objectors withdraw their objections
and so stiplulate. This would leave the
Commissioners of the State Elections Board
to liberally construe the Election Law as
that law provides, on the presumption that
all the petitions, in question, are valid on
their face.

The voters of the 21st Congressional District
could then make the ultimate decision as
to which of the candidates will be their
Representative in Congress.

Since Danz, and his GOP handlers, have
created this dilemma, the ball is now in
their court. They bear the responsibility
for the outcome of this donnybrook.

As Sean Thornton ( John Wayne) and
Squire Danaher (Victor McLaughlin)
shared an adversarial pint in the pub in
the classic film "The Quiet Man";  Sean
Thornton  turned and asked a supporter
What time is it?..... before delivering the
knock out punch to the squire.

What time is it Squire Danz? Your call.

to 10 voters in the 21st CD, ask them to
forward it to 10 more who, in turn
forward it to 10 more...you get the idea.

Heavily engaged with enemy forces.

Outnumbered. Out gunned. No relief
column in sight.

Filed my Conservative Petition for
Representative in Congress with the
NYS Board of Elections in Albany.

General and Specific objections were
filed by Republican Party operatives
seeking to have the Board  knock me
off the ballot on the grounds that my
petition does not contain the required
number of valid signatures.  The GOP
followed up with an Order to Show Cause
returnable in State Supreme Court  on
August 3, asking the court to compell the
State Board of Elections to declare my
petition invalid. 

I filed counter objections calling for the
Board to invalidate the petitions of GOP
candidate Danz, an enrolled Republican
who is also seeking to have the Conservative
ballot line.

My Objections have disappered off the
radar screen, because they are based
on the fact that the petitions of Danz for
the GOP and Conservative ballot lines,
and those of  Incumbent Tonko for the
Democratic and Independence Party
do not correctly identify the public
office they seek -  Representative in
Congress, 21st Congressional District
New York.

My authority for this objection is the
U S Constitution - the supreme law of
our land, in particular,  Art 1, Sections
1, 2, 3 and 4 .

Sec. 1 provides that there shall be a
legislative, known as Congress, composed
of 2 houses. The Senate and House of
Representatives.

Sec. 2 Those elected to the House of
Representatives are Representatives.

Sec. 3 Those elected to the Senate are
Senators.

Sec. 4 says that elections for Senators
and Representatives "shall be prescribed
in each State by the Legislature thereof.."

The websites of the NYS Board of Elections
correctly identify the public office I seek
as - Representative in Congress, 21st
Congressional District, NY.

Danzs' Republican and Conservative
party petitions and Tonkos' Democratic
and Independence Party petitions state
they are candidates for Member of Congress.

Congress is not a political country club
for the likes of Incumbent Tonko, or wanna
be member Danz, who show no clear
understanding of the public office they
hold or seek.

Representative in Congress has clear
meaning. A Representative is elected
by the people of a specific Congressional
District in a specific State, to represent
the people of that district.

I objected to the Conservative and
Independence Party Wilsion Pakula
Certificates of Authorization for Danz
and Tonko, on the same grounds.

I have date/time stamped copies of
all of the objections I have filed with
the State Board of Elections, which I
shall present before the Court August
3.

I did not object to the Working Families
Party petition designating Paul Tonko
as their candidate. WFP is Acorn -
is Obama and is where Tonko belongs.

I believe that Americans who support
Obama, Tonko and Acorn should have
the opportunity to vote for that team.

I also believe, that Americans who
identify and support what I represent
should have the opportunity to vote
for me as Conservative candidate to
represent  them as Representative in
Congress.

That decision now rests with the
Commissioners of the State Board of
Elections who must decide whether
or not I will be on the Conservative
ballot for Congress, and the State
Supreme Court.

There is not a lawyer in sight  who
will step in and represent me.  The
cost factor has kicked in. I can not
afford the price of a lawyer qualified
and comptent to take on this case.

There are few lawyers that can afford
to put their careers on the line by
taking a case that pits them against
the powerful political forces that feed
them.

It will be interesting to see which Judge
gets this case, and how that Judge rules.

For after all,  Judges (members) of
the judiciary are also creatures of the
political powers that be.

I am an enrolled Conservative
backed by Richie Stack and the Albany
County Conservative Party organization.

However, the State Conservative Party
Leader Mike Long, aligned with a guy
named Big Al, a former U S Senator
and now bigtime  lobbyist in Washington
and Albany, is backing Rick Lazio and
Danz.

Long and the GOP are seeking to knock
out Stack as well. They challenged his
slate of 21st Congressional District
Conservative Party State Committee
candidates.

Stack opposed the State Party giving
the Conservative nod to Rick Lazio at
the party convention in June.

Stack backed Conservative leader Ralph
Lorigo, of Western New York, who is
aligned with Carl Paladino.

Lorigo received enough votes at the
Conservative convention to qualify for
the September 14 Conservative Party
primary for Governor, without having
to petition to get on the ballot.

So,  September 14th,  Lorigo,  a real
Conservative faces Lazio, a Rhino who
has made millions as a lobbyist. And
will make millions more after he takes
the count in November - that is if Lazio
is not beaten by Paladino in the GOP
primary, and by Lorigo, in the Conservative
primary, September 14.

Lazio and Danz, among others have
been selected by puppetmaster Big Al
to run a pretend election, while Big Al
is banking on Andrew to win the
Governor's contest, November 2. Al
figures he will cash in on this deal.
Lazio and Danz  will be taken care of.

As I have said many times, the futures
of America, and all Americans are on the
line this election year of 2010.

We are beset by foreign and domestic
enemies who seek to control us and take
away our liberties,

The American public is largely apathetic.
Those that care feel helpless to change the
course of events. Many are indifferent or
without hope. Many are blissfully unaware
of the dire straits that America, and all
Americans, are in.

When the ship goes down, all hands will
go with it.

I am gratified that this blog is being read
widely in many states of these United States
and many nations round the world, including
Canada, Ireland, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina
Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and
more.

Sadly, it is not paid much heed to by the
local media and virtually unknown or unread
by the people of the 21st Congressional District.

When I was a young lad of 17, I asked my
father to sign me into the Navy so I could
serve my Country. Now, more than the
a half century later, I am now, what some
would say, and old man; but I am still ready
and willing to serve my Country as
Representative in Congress, 21st Congressional
District, New York.

Will I get the chance?  My fate, and that of
America, is in God's Hands.

PS. To the media. There are still about 2 weeks
left to get an Independent candidate on the ballot
for Congress. 3,500 valid signatures of voters
resident in the 21st Congressional District are
required. A tall order for one man. But, there
are nearly a half million voters in the 21st
District.

I am petitioning for the  Independent Taxpayer
Party ballot line Party. If I obtain the required
3,500 signatures in the next two weeks, I would
be on the November 2nd ballot.

This is not for me. This is for America, and you.
