Is Governor Cuomo compromising the

untold numbers of illegal aliens in

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said on Wednesday that he was suspending New York’s participation in a federal immigration enforcement plan that has drawn fire from immigrant advocates, civil liberties lawyers and elected officials in the state and around the country.

A statement from Mr. Cuomo’s office said there was “mounting evidence” that the program, called Secure Communities, had not only failed to meet its goal of deporting the most serious immigrant criminals but was also undermining law enforcement and compromising public safety. PROOF?
“There are concerns about the implementation of the program as well as its impact on families, immigrant communities and law enforcement in New York,” Mr. Cuomo said. Unless those concerns are eased, the statement said, New York will not take part. SPECFIC CONCERNS?
Mr. Cuomo’s decision makes New York the second state to announce its intention to withdraw from the program, and sets up a confrontation with the Obama administration, which has made Secure Communities a cornerstone of immigration enforcement strategy. Gov. Pat Quinn of Illinois said in May that he was canceling his state’s participation.
Under the program, begun by the Bush administration in 2008, the fingerprints of everyone booked into a local or county jail are sent to the Department of Homeland Security and compared with prints in its files. If officials find that a suspect is in the country illegally, or is a noncitizen with a criminal record, they may seek to deport the person.
By Wednesday, that fingerprint sharing had been introduced in about 41 percent of the nation’s jurisdictions, including 27 of 62 counties in New York. Mr. Cuomo’s move means that those counties’ participation will end. The entire country is scheduled to join the program by 2013. NAME COUNTIES.
The practical effects of Mr. Cuomo’s decision are unclear. New York law enforcement agencies regularly check fingerprints with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Homeland Security officials said that regardless of New York’s participation in Secure Communities, the F.B.I. would still share fingerprints with the immigration agency. SO, GOV ANDREW IS POSTURING?
Federal officials said that if states did not share fingerprints with the F.B.I., those states would lose access to federal criminal databases, undermining their ability to fight crime.
While Secure Communities has contributed to a sharp rise in deportations under President Obama, it does not appear to have won him many allies. It has angered immigrants who supported Democrats in recent elections. It has also failed to convince many of the president’s Republican opponents that he is sufficiently committed to enforcement.
Opponents of the program contend that even though it was mainly intended to ensnare convicted criminals and people deemed a security threat, it has instead caught too many immigrants charged with low-level crimes or guilty only of being in the country illegally. This pattern, the opponents argue, has driven immigrants deeper into the shadows and deterred them from helping officials fight crime. ONLY GUILTY OF BEING

In addition, critics have assailed the rollout of Secure Communities, which has been plagued by seemingly contradictory statements about how it works and whether local and state participation is voluntary. VAGUE
Mylan L. Denerstein, counsel to Mr. Cuomo, cited these concerns in a letter on Wednesday.
“Until the numerous questions and controversies regarding the program can be resolved, we have determined that New York is best served by relying on existing tools to ensure the safety of its residents, especially given our overriding concern that the current mechanism is actually undermining law enforcement,” Mr. Denerstein wrote to John Sandweg, counsel to Janet Napolitano, the homeland security secretary. WHAT QUESTIONS, CONTROVERSIES? WHAT EXISTING TOOLS?
Officials from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, an arm of Homeland Security that oversees Secure Communities, said it was reviewing the program to make sure it focused on criminals.
Immigrant advocates praised Mr. Cuomo. “It is clear the tide is turning” against Secure Communities, said Pablo Alvarado, director of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network in Los Angeles. “It’s high time for the president to terminate the program before any further damage is done to our communities.” WHOSE
COMMUNITIES?

Rather than ending New York's
participation in the Secure Communities
program, Governor Cuomo should:
1. End Sanctuary status for illegal aliens
in New York State, all counties
cities, towns, villages and political
units therof. And denying state and
federal aid to juridictions, including
school districts, that fail to comply.
2. Report to the people of New York
answering these questions?
a) How many illegal aliens are in
the state and where?
b) What is the cost to state, and local
taxpayers, of providing social services
education benefits, medical care for
illegal aliens.
c) What are the types and numbers
of crimes perpetrated by illegal
aliens? What proportion of those
incarcerated in prisons and jails
in New York, are illegal aliens?
What is it costing state taxpayers
for law enforcement, courts, jails
and prisons related to illegal
aliens.
The costs of failure of New York State
and the political subdivisions thereof
to far exceed any political benefit that
might accrue to Governor Cuomo and
the New York Democratic Party.
In fact, this failure puts all New Yorkers
at increased risk, when we are the targets
of a foe seeking to destroy us in their War
of Terror.

LIFE AND DEATH. FOR WHOM
DO THE BELLS TOLL? THE HOG
CALL? THE DOG BARK?
Death is a fact of life. But, rational people
will not be in a hurry for the grim reaper
to arrive.
Osama Bin Laden is gone. The US Navy
Seals did the job. They, our Navy pilots
and military intelligence accomplished
this magnificent military maneuver. It
is they, NOT any politician, who deserve
credit.
However, as Governor Cuomo has rightly
observed: this is not the end of the war
on terror. He is correct to increase
security in NY in the belief that retaliatory
acts will come. Governor Cuomo is correct
to increase security in NYC and elsewhere
in NYS.
We know not when, where or how the
retaliatory attacks will come, but we know
they will. We will not be able to prevent
all.
Terrorist targets abound everywhere. So
do the terrorists bent on our destruction.
Organized terror cells and free lancers
will creatively use our own environment
transportation infrastructure, utilities
food supplies, media, churches and schools
indeed every aspect of our way of life
including our poltical system, in their
efforts to destroy or conquer us.
Ordinary citizens are the eyes and ears
of efforts to protect our homeland from
the terrorists, both foreign and domestic.
If only citizens would wise up and so act.
Government can't save us, we must save
ourselves and save our government.
Every eligible voter casting informed
ballots in the 2011 local and 2012
national/state elections is the key.
The media must do it's part to inform.

President Obama should not visit the
World Trade site, Thursday. His presence
there only increases the likelihood of
terrorist retaliation in NYC, putting

only fuels speculation the timing of the
Seal raid was to increase Obama's poll
numbers at a time when his numbers are
at an all time low.
Governor Cuomo should, respectfully
not be seen with the President, if Obama
makes to Ground Zero visit.
Islam is a by it's nature a radical belief
system, bent on world conquest for
centuries.
The foot soldiers of Islam have invaded
Europe and America through immigration
both legal and illegal.
Deception is a part of their arsenal. They
do not wear military uniforms, but their
identity and behavior are readily discernible
for all the see...if one's vision is not
clouded by progressive indoctrination or
pure indifference, apathy or ignorance.
These foreign terrorists have swelled their
numbers through natural birth in America
and by recruiting native born anti-social
malcontents from prisons, urban gangbangers
and drug dealers.
Make no mistake! The War on Terror is
a war by Islam on us. There are no grounds
for diplomacy, tolerance, negotiation or
appeasement. Death to America is their
rally cry. They are to be taken at their

President Obama deceives himself and us
when he declares that America is not at

Adherents of Islam started the war on
terror which is only the latest episode

adversary who loves death more than life.
President Obama swore an oath to uphold
the Constitution and to protect America
and all Americans from all enemies foreign
and domestic.
Live up to that oath, President Obama, by:
1. not circumventing the Constitution or
Congress
2. securing our national ports and ports
immediately
3. no amnesty for the tens of millions of
illegals who have invaded our land.
Require proof of U S citizenship for
voting, education, jobs, social services
social security, medicaid etc.
4. end illegal alien sanctuary policies
by the nation, states, counties, cities
towns and villages in the United States.
5. removing pc rules of engagement on
of forces in Afghanistan, Iraq and worldwide
6. dipping all ammo, bombs, missles
used in the war on terror in pig fat, jamming
the airwaves with hog calls and battlefield
deployment of hogs to clear roadsides of
IED's are among effective retaliatory
acts that should be part of our arsenal in
combating the war on terror.

INFIDELS ARE
AN EASY MARK
Politically correct infidels are an

Other terrorists have come

of native born anti-social

COAL TO CHINA?
The U S is wealthy in coal. Coal
is used to generate most of the
electricity required to support
our way of life.
Oil prices are rapidly increasing.
As Jihadists set the Mideast on fire.
Oil will soon be rationed and not
available at any price.
Like it, or not, as America is
starved of oil, we will have to turn
to coal to survive.
Does it make any sense to mine

ship it to China to fuel electric

which can be utilized, taking care to
protect aquifers and surface waters.
Drill for oil offshore, safely. It is foolish
for the U S government to have a
moratorium on offshore oil drilling while
our enemies are drilling everywhere.
Green energy alternatives can play a
limited role in the future, but are very
expensive, variable and not able to
meet the energy needs of our huge metro
areas.
With the end of cheap oil goes the end
of the era of motor vehicle use for daily
commuting and transporting food, goods
and materials in commerce. Trans-
continental travel and transportation
by motor vehicle will be over. Intercity
bus transportation as well.
Forget about the mirage of high speed
rail. Instead, the nation, states and
cities, must embark immediately on
efforts to rebuild and expand conventional
rail networks, including light rail to
connect populated suburbs, and rural
areas with cities.
Waterways, canals, ports and our merchant
marine fleet must be rebuilt and used to
move bulk cargoes, freight and passengers.
Land use and settlement patterns will
change. People will move back to cities
and where the jobs are. Decaying urban
water/sewer systems will have to be
rebuilt. Old housing stock replaced.
Regional shopping centers will decline.
Cities will have to be rebuilt. Our
manufacturing base restored,
All these actions will create needed
jobs to put people back to work and
stimulate our economy.
The adaptations required are myriad
and will not happen overnight. But
they must begin, now!
We need political leaders with vision
and an informed electorate which
understand that their very survival
and way of life are on the line.
The mainstream media has a critical
role to play in saving America. Serving
as a political publicity arm for pc
"progressive" politicians must end.

Our whole educational system is in
need of reform from top to bottom.

DEMOCRACY FOR DUMMIES
The regime change underway in Egypt is
not about extending democracy to the
people.
Events taking place in Egypt are the
playoffs in the coming Oil Super Bowl.
The Muslim Brotherhood will emerge
in control of Egypt and control the flow
of oil through the Suez Canal to Europe
and the United States.
Oil is the lifeblood of Europe and America.
Reduced oil flow will mean no economic
recovery.

our borders/ports. End sanctuary

illegally. Embargo all transfers of
funds to, and trade with Mexico
until the Mexican government
cooperate with U S to secure our
common border, ending illegal
migration and the drug trade.
No Iranian missles in Venezuela.
NATO should act to keep the
