WINTER ON
THE WANE

The days are getting longer.

Winter is meant to be a time
when life slows down. A time
to rest, reflect and, for some
a time to hibernate.

Slow down and contemplate
the beauty of this season.

WORRY ABOUT
CLIMATE CHANGE?

Climate change has occurred
over millions of years. There
is little that humans can do
but adapt.

Road salt is a more immediate
environmental health problem
not to mention a practice that
has severe economic costs. It
destroys  trees, water quality
roads and bridges, deteriorates
our homes and destroys our
vehicles.

Airborne road salt is a public
health problem for humans
animals and birds

The excessive use of road
salt and consequences  thereof
are issues that people, and
governments can, and must
address, now.
