THINGS BEST NOT SAID
Things best not said if you are
a candidate seeking New York
Conservative Party endorsement
and votes of enrolled Albany
City Conservatives-
For Governor - "don't allow
third party candidates to be
in any debates/forums"
Voters have the right to hear
from every candidate who qualifies
for the ballot.
For Lt Governor " I am pro-choice"
Abortion is a national disgrace.
Disrespect for Life is the root
cause of violence and a host of
societal problems.
For Attorney General
" I support the Dream Act.
We are a nation of immigrants"
We are a nation of legal immigrants !
Illegal aliens are law breakers who
have invaded our nation. They deserve
no benefits of any kind, educational
driver's licenses, welfare, jobs or
voting in our local, state, national
elections!
American citizens and legal immigrants
who seek to respect our borders
language and culture deserve the
full protection of our laws.
These paraphrased statements of
would be GOP candidates can be
documented by listening to
pod casts of the Fred Dicker
Show, Talk 1300 AM Radio for
April and May 2014.

SAFE ACT NOT
Early at the start of session
in 2013, at Governor Cuomo's
direction, the NYS Legislature
voted to enact the so called
"Safe Act".
No one is any safer in NY as
a result. In fact, we are less safe.
Governor Cuomo and those
state legislators have violated
the Constitutional Right of
New Yorkers to bear arms to
protect themselves , their loved
ones, and their property, from
criminals and
a rogue government.
Criminals everywhere are
continuing to shoot up city
streets.
They do not respect, nor abide
by any laws.
If government can take away
one Constitutional Right, it
can take away any, and all
others.
State Senator Breslin and
Assembly Members Fahy
McDonald and Steck, who
purport to represent citizens
of Albany City and County
voted to violate your Second
Amendment Rights.
They do not merit your
signatures on their designating
petitions to qualify them for
the ballot.
They do not merit your votes
in the September 9 party
primaries and November 4
General Election.

LIGHTS, CAMERAS

OPS/COVERAGE IN

Search Albany Red Lights/Cameras
and you will be amazed at the amount
of coverage traffic light cameras affords
politicians.
However, there is a downside as illustrated
by the Chicago traffic light camera scandal:

Red Light Traffic Cameras for Albany?
Yeah....No! A waste of money for a cash
strapped city.
All that Albany needs is a proclamation
from the Mayor declaring that all traffic
laws will be strictly enforced in the City
of Albany, particularly in residential
neighborhoods.
Then direct the Albany PD to do so.
Drivers will soon get the message.
And, yes ....city revenues will increase.

ENERGY IS ESSENTIAL
TO OUR ECONOMY AND
WAY OF LIFE.
Energy is in the sights of activists,
the media, politicians, and government
regulators.
The emphasis is on public safety and
more government regulations.
Here are a few examples from the
media this past week or so:
http://www.timesunion.com/opinion/article/Editorial-Feds-step-up-on-oil-safety-5463829.php
http://www.timesunion.com/business/article/Oil-refinery-emission-rules-tighten-in-plan-5482014.php
http://www.timesunion.com/business/article/High-winter-utility-bills-may-not-go-away-5482021.php
http://www.timesunion.com/business/article/Coal-investments-a-bad-bet-for-state-pensions-5464524.php
To be sure public safety is a legitimate
concern, but beware of more government
regulations and policies which stifle
economic development and adversely
effect our way of life.
It can be argued that government
over regulation and flawed policies
are the root cause of of the problems
which are the subjects of the above
media examples.
The President has blocked approval
of the Keystone pipeline resulting in
oil train shipments and public safety
concerns.
Coal is a bad financial bet because
his administration has set out to
destroy the coal industry and shut
down coal burning power generating
plants.
Government polices and regulations
are a root cause of ever increasing
costs for electricity, gasoline and
heating oil.
Let us have more truthful and
balanced media coverage of these
energy issues and the negative
impacts of flawed government
policies and over regulation by
career government bureaucrats
whose jobs are dependent on
drafting more and more regulations.
The media must not be a arm
of the politicians and political
parties that control government.
Congress and state legislatures
must exercise more oversight and
control of executive agencies at
both levels.
