TWO STRIKES
The count against Kathy Sheehan
and the Albany Common Council
in the 2017 Albany City elections is
2 strikes.
Strike 1 was declaring Albany a
sanctuary city. Sheehan and the
Common Council are law breakers
who have violated their oaths of
office, compromised the security
and safety of Albany residents
and made Albany a target for
terror attacks.
Strike 2 was ramming through
repeal of the existing Albany
City Zoning Code and replacing
it with the Rezone Albany zoning
code and official map, without
the members of the Common
Council, and City voters having
a clear understanding of the
consequences of Rezone Albany
on neighborhood residential
integrity and quality of life,
home values, the City property tax
base in the formerly owned
R 1B single family residential
zoning districts in Wards 4, 8,9,12
13,14 and 15, which pay the lion's
share of property taxes that support
City schools and City government
services.

Enactment of Rezone Albany puts
Albany on the fast track to becomong
Detroit on the Hudson.
Petitioning to qualify candidates
for the September 12 party primary
ballots and November 7 General
Election begins June 7 and continues
through early July.
Do not sign candidate designating
petitions for Sheehan and Members
of the Common Council who supported
Albany being a sanctuary city and
replacing the existing City of Albany
Zoning Code/Official Map with the
Rezone Albant Zoning Code/Official
Map, which is effective June 1, 2017.
Three Common Council Members
voted No on Rezone Albany.
Robinson (Ward 5) Krasher (W11)
and Commisso (W15). For this they
have earned your signatures to get
them on the ballot for the 2017 City
elections.
Challengers for election to Common
Council from Wards 1, 2, 3, 4,6,7,8
9, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15, and Common
Council President, who will vote
to Repeal Sanctuary City status and
Rezone Albany merit your signatures
on their candidate designating petitions.
Meanwhile, voters and candidates
should take the time to read, analyze
and understand Rezone Albany and
it's consequences for their neighborhoods
wards and the City as a whole.

CHURCHILL SPOT ON
Albany Times Union article by
Chris Church is spot on, one
of his best:
http://www.timesunion.com/tuplus-local/article/Churchill-Asking-questions-as-Albany-thwarts-11119905.php
The 5 members of the Albany
Common Council Planning
Committee should vote to
Table Ordinance 26.31.17
Rezone Albany and hold
the bill in Committee until
a new Mayor and Common
Council takes office in
January 2018.
The Common Council Planning
Committee will meet to reconsider
action on Rezone Albany, May
10.
Committee Chair Dan Herring
sponsor of the ordinance should
strike the enacting clause of the
Rezone Albany Zoning Ordinance
and Official Map.
Chairman Herring has announced
that he is not seeking reelection.
Do the honorable thing Dan.
You hold the fate of homeowners
neighborhood residential integrity
and quality of life, home values
the City property tax base and
support for City schools/City
government services
The implications of Rezone Albany
need to be thoroughly analyzed
understood and debated by voters
and candidates alike before the
party primaries occur in September
and the November 7 General Election.
To do otherwise will doom the
City of Albany to fiscal insolvency
resulting in the City of Albany
becoming Detroit on the Hudson.
