CHURCHILL SPOT ON
Albany Times Union article by
Chris Church is spot on, one
of his best:

The 5 members of the Albany
Common Council Planning
Committee should vote to
Table Ordinance 26.31.17
Rezone Albany and hold
the bill in Committee until
a new Mayor and Common
Council takes office in
January 2018.
The Common Council Planning
Committee will meet to reconsider
action on Rezone Albany, May
10.
Committee Chair Dan Herring
sponsor of the ordinance should
strike the enacting clause of the
Rezone Albany Zoning Ordinance
and Official Map.
Chairman Herring has announced
that he is not seeking reelection.
Do the honorable thing Dan.
You hold the fate of homeowners
neighborhood residential integrity
and quality of life, home values
the City property tax base and
support for City schools/City
government services
The implications of Rezone Albany
need to be thoroughly analyzed
understood and debated by voters
and candidates alike before the
party primaries occur in September
and the November 7 General Election.
To do otherwise will doom the
City of Albany to fiscal insolvency
resulting in the City of Albany
becoming Detroit on the Hudson.

Voters government can't save you.
You must save your government, your
City and your homes.
