A SIGN OF THE TIMES: CANDIDATE SKIPS LAWN SIGNS
URGES VOTERS TO FLY AMERICAN FLAGS

Joseph P Sullivan, Democratic Primary candidate for Albany
Common Council, Ward 14 announced, today, that he will forgo
use of campaign lawn signs. Sullivan will allocate the 1,000
dollar estimated cost of lawn signs toward payment of his
homeowner school property taxes, instead.

Sullivan is the only candidate for city office, in Albany, who
is advocating property tax relief for homeowners and
businesses; and improving city schools by consolidating
city schools with city government and having one property
tax roll to support both.

Sullivan, a U S Navy veteran, is the only military veteran among
all the candidates for Albany City public offices in the September
15 Democratic Primary.

Sullivan is also, the only candidate who has made support of
the U S Constitution, particularly the First and Second Amendments
as part of his campaign platform.

Sullivan urges voters to fly their American flags, every day, in
support of our Nation, our Constitution, and support of the men
and women serving our country in the military.
