DAN MCCOY IS NOT
DAN O CONNELL.

Dan O'Connell would have a Conservative
Democratic Candidate for the 21st
Congressional District seat now held by
leftist career politician Paul Tonko.

Tonko hails from the boondocks of
CD 21.

Tonko kicked sand in Mayor Jerry
Jennings' face last year, when Tonko
endorsed leftist Shawn Morris for Mayor.

Albany County is the geographic
political and Democratic enrollment
heart of the 21st Congressional District.

Without strong Democratic leadership
in the Albany County Democratic
organization, and among the Members
of the State Senate and State Assembly
as well as Congress 21st District...is it
any wonder that Albany's Democratic
vote is taken for granted by the federal
and state party organization and elected
officials?

Result: the people of Albany City and
County get shortchanged.

Proposed closing of Thacher and
Peebles Island State Parks, denying
the City of Albany state aid to
compensate for the State Office
Campus being off city property tax roles
and withdrawl of funding to maintain
the Civil War unit flag collection at
the State Capitol are among the
examples.

Jack The Dipper got plenty tv face
time, last night, lamenting the withdrawl
of state funding to maintain the Civil
War unit flag collection.

Nice, but what are Jack, Ron, Neil and
the others who purport to represent
Albany in the State Legislature going
to do about it?...and the closing of
Thacher and Peebles Island State Parks?
...and the Governor's veto of payments
in lieu of taxes to the City of Albany
(taxpayers) for the State Office Campus
and other land in the City of Albany
occupied by state facilities and offices?

Is there any valid reason why any of
the above should be reelected in 2010?

When Tip Toeing Through the Tulips
Tonko got media coverage, the other
day, for announcing a grant to the
VA Hospital to replace windows and
otherwise update the facility...Tonko
never acknowledged there never would
have been a VA hospital in Albany, if
it were not for the strong leadership of
Dan O Connell, who delivered for
Harry Truman, who in turn, asked
Dan what Dan wanted for Albany. Dan
responded: "the VA hospital".

So much for history and short memories.

Time for the Lemming like Democratic
partyline voters of the cities of Albany
Cohoes and Watervliet and the towns
and villages of Albany County to wake up!

and view the geographic distribution
of Democratic voters in the 21st CD
46 SD and 104, 106, 108 and 109 AD's.
