HOW TO SAVE THACHER PARK.
HOLDING THE PEOPLE HOSTAGE
IS A DUMB MOVE. WISE UP!

1. Mount primary and general election challenges
to incumbents in the 21st Congressional District
46th State Senate District and Assembly Districts
104, 106, 108, 109.

Writing letters and e mails, making phone calls
to these birds is just a waste of time. No pleadng
begging or compromising!

Direct ballot line challenges are the best options.

2. Governor Paterson has indicated he is willing to
reconsider park closures ... if we can show him
how to find funds to keep parks open:

"What I'm saying is if anyone has a better idea and
can find a way to save us the resources, then
obviously we'd reconsider," the governor said of
the parks closures. "But I don't see that as happening..."

Closing Thacher Park would save a mere $225,000
in operating expenses, according to Brian Nearing's
TU, front page story, Saturday, Feb 19, 2010.

Well, Governor Paterson, that is an easy one -

lay off two unqualified staffers, or reduce your

state police detail.

As for saving parks statewide- here are options:

Holding the people hostage is a dumb move. Wise up!
