IS THE (TEA) PARTY
OVER IN NEW YORK?

The political party organizations will
designate endorsed candidates in
May 2010 at party conventions or
caucuses.

Political outsiders have slim chance
of getting party organization
endorsements because those
organizations are controlled by
the self interests of party insiders
and their special interest allies
in particular unions, etc.

The Democratic Party Primary
elections are controlled by a
shrinking base of partyline voters
who vote for the party endorsed
candidates.

The same is true of the Republicans.

Potential candidates seeking the
Democrat and Republican Party
endorsements are largely incumbents
or others who have been active in
those parties over the years.

The incumbents are busy getting
as much "free media" time as they
can.

Potential challengers are playing
Hamlet regarding their intentions
while teasing the media with rumors
of their impending candidacies.
Meanwhile, they are raising money
and gearing up their campaign
organizations.

They are stalling for time so they
can duck taking positions on vital
issues at the national, state and
local levels.

Before, anyone knows it, it will
be May and Party (convention/caucus)
time, and it will be game over
particularly in those congressional
and state legislative districts where
Democrats rule.

The GOP is endeavoring to bring
the Tea Party Patriots under their
banner.

However, if the GOP continues to
endorse Democratic Light candidates
who do not have the Conservative
Party line, those GOP candidates
will suffer a similar fate to that
of the GOP candidate in the 23rd
CD last year.

The Democrat won that race with
endorsement of the GOP candidate.

Tea Party Patriots are just whistlin
Yankee Doodle if they do not leverage
the choices of candidates made by
the Democrats and GOP.

For example, notice the divided field
shaping up in the 20th Congressional
District:

What are Tea Party Patriots to do?

As outlined in an earlier post on
this blog - the Conservative Party is
the one party most akin to the values
of those in the Tea Party Movement.

Secure that party line, either with
enrolled Conservatives, as candidates
or non enrolled conservative candidates
including Independents, seek the
endorsement and Wilson Pakula
authorization pledge, of Conservative Party
Mike Long and the Executive Committee
of that party, in every district race that
crosses county lines.

In Albany County, where the County
Conservative Committee is a handmaiden
of the Democratic Party, no Wilson-Pakula
authorization will be forthcoming to any
candidate who is not the endorsed
candidate of the Democratic Party.

So, in the 46th SD and 104 AD, the only
option is for enrolled Conservative Party
who are in line with Tea Party Patriots
to run for those public offices.

Tea Party Patriots who are enrolled
Democrats and Republicans should
primary the party organization endorsed
candidates. (September 14)

As added insurance, Tea Party Patriots
have to create an independent ballot
line (The Liberty Party) which has a
viable gubernatorial candidate heading
a ticket of Tea Party Patriots in every
congressional and state legislaative district.

This will give independents and others
who share the values of the Tea Party
Movement a real choice in the November
2 General Election, irregardless of who
emerge as candidates of the Democrat
and Republican Parties in May and
September.

If the gubernatorial candidate of the
Liberty Party garners 50,000+ votes
statewide on November 2 - The Liberty
Party becomes a valid party (ballot line)
in New York for the next four years.

The Tea Party Movement controls the
Liberty Party line setting the stage for
elections in 2011 and 2012.

In sum, what happened in Massachusetts
will not happen in New York, unless the
Tea Party Patriots follow a logical battle
plan, without delay, that places the
Tea Party Movement in a position of
strength in relation to selection and
support of candidates who emerge from
the May party conventions and September
party primaries of the Democrat and
Republican Parties.

George Washington and the Continential
Army did not linger all winter in Valley
Forge - they crossed the frozen Delaware
River and took Trenton by suprise.

The Tea Party Patrots must no tarry
waiting for Spring. Take the fight to the
Democrat and Republican Party organizations
while the snow flies.

Allowing either party to control the
candidate selection process is a recipe
for failure.

It must be emphasized that Tea Party
endorsed candidates must succeed
in congressional and state senate races
in 2010 - if the people are to regain
control of federal and state governments
in time to avert man-made political
disaster in America.

The futures of America and all Americans
are on the line in 2010.
